Book Reading.......
Oct. 5th, 2016 09:15 pmFinished up book No. 41 this morning.
I read "Blinded By The Sight" by S. L. Smith.
It's the third book by Ms. Smith that I have read. The first was "Murder on a Stick" about a killing at the Minnesota State Fair.
He books are centered on two police detectives on the St. Paul police force. Easy reads and it's fun to read about "local" areas. :)
This book is about the murder of a "homeless" man in a construction zone along the Mississippi River. He was found wearing a big diamond ring on his finger, so it wasn't robbery, right? He had a falling out, that got physical, with most of his family. Did the argument go too far? HE was recently fired from his job after accusing a VP of misdeeds. Was he taken out to keep him quiet? Two young kids possibly saw the killer, but they run from the cops.
Get to work detectives.

Most of it's on my breaks at work unless it's really quiet on the station and I will pull my book out. Especially if I am not working with anybody worth chatting with. lol......

Date: 2016-10-06 09:23 am (UTC)41? Stop it! You've read a whole lot more than last year? I'm only on 34 so far, I need to write an update on LJ. Then again, I'm sure there are a few missing from my list. I'll work it out.
Good job though, I'm impressed.
