So very very sad about his death. I have heard so many different causes of death from Heroine overdose, to the Flu, and also to AIDS, and to having AIDS and not taking meds due to him being Jehovah Witness. I hope they say what caused his death in a few days.

As far as I know, Prince lived a healthy lifestyle for at least the last 30 years. His early years are in question, but from the time he and Apollonia broke up, he floated between different religions.

I don't want to start rumors, but people don't die from the Flu now days, they die from complications from the Flu, like catching Pneumonia. The only way you can get Pneumonia is if your immune system is severely compromised, like if you have HIV/AIDS or some other immune system deficiency. (That's how I got Pneumonia)

From the way this is playing out, it sounds like he may indeed have had Pneumonia. It's playing out exactly like mine did...First the Flu for about a week, then better for a few days, then suddenly (within hours), my temperature shot up to over 104deg. and I had to drive myself to the hospital and barely made it in time.

Yes, I am HIV Positive, it's in my profile.

If it was Pneumonia, we'll know soon enough, as it only takes a few hours to diagnose...

Oh I see, thank you for explaining that. I didn't realize that about you but I only feel more friendly compassion for you, even though I am not friends with you here. I know someone else who is also, I am so sorry.

I remember the early 80's in a quite painful way when friend after friend were dying of AIDS, so very sad.

And to have such a close scare with Pneumonia, that must have been so terribly scary, I am glad you got to the hospital.
