It seems to me that these days sports stars think they're above the law, in any country!

Sadly in most cases they are here. Most often they get a slap on the wrist and go back to playing.
One of our players beat his kid and was kicked out for the rest of the season, but this year he is back and the big star of the team again. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Athletes are spoiled and overpaid. They are treated like they're above the law so they think they are. It's sad. Why are they paid more than Doctors, nurses, firefighters, teachers, or any other job for that matter? We battle minimum wage and they get paid millions to play a sport. It's idiotic.
