My brother just posted that today on Facebook, "I want my country back." Argh, :-/
As you may guess him and I do NOT see 'eye to eye' on politics and it feels weird as we had the same parents? But me and my liberal sis are smarter than him, ahh haa!

He and I politely avoid talking politics to each other, lol. In my mind though, I have asked him a lot of things about it :-D

Probably a good choice. :)
I don't talk to my older brother about politics either, partly because he's conservative while I am liberal, but also it's not a big thing for him where I am more political. Thankfully my younger brother is liberal like me. :)

Yep.
Dad is conservative, but old Republican conservative, not the new whack job conservative. Older brother not political but conservative, me and younger brother liberal fairly political. Mom wasn't political, but I think leaned liberal. lol.......

Old style Republican conservative at least made some sense, not wanting to pay more taxes and fiscally conservative. But this new spin, whacked, whacked!

My Mom was for Nixon, hee hee. My Dad was kind of a redneck but he was always a union guy so that kept him a bit liberal. Then in their older age they both became very liberal, it was refreshing!

WOW, they got liberal in older age? I always thought it went the other way. lol...
My dad has actually talked down about the way a lot of the Repubilcan party is going with their thoughts. :)

I think some of the older decent Republicans are quite fed up with the extremists!

I know, it surprised me too how they became more liberal in their old age. My Grandmother became a lot less predjudice when she got older, fascinating!

Maybe I am stereotyping, but that is really weird. :o
