i can see prettier ones out IN FORCE coming next month. *G* (houston livestock show and rodeo, march 3-22 this year!)

when my parents built their house, my grandmother was still alive, and living with them. so my dad bought a HUGE HD tv...so she would be able to watch the bull riders. she LOVED the bull riders, used to always tell me "bowlegged means you're cute!"

she was a handful till she passed, at age 94.

*good* cowboys start riding when they're little, and spend a lot of time on a horse...therefore they become a little bowlegged, and you can honestly tell a guy who spends a lot of time on a horse by his gait.

it doesn't affect horsewomen in exactly the same way, and my speculation is that it's because of the difference in male and female pelvises, and the difference in the angle of the head of the femur at the hip ball/socket.

but since she loved her some cowboys, bowlegged was absolutely cute!
