I know I have nothing to complain about when my friends in Florida are dealing with yet another hurricane, but I think I am about ready to go build an ark so I can get home in the morning after work. It has been raining since last evening. We are in a Flash Flood Watch and just to the West of us they have a Flash Flood Warning. Places have had up to 5 inches already, and it is still coming down. If I start seeing animals going by 2 by 2 I am heading for the hills.
Okay, I am done whining now, and my thoughts will go back to my friends battling the hurricanes.

I live in the Southeastern corner of Minnesota. About 75 miles south of Minneapolis/St. Paul. It is a little town called Stewartville. :)
We are all okay. There is a lot of water around in places, but we are dry. We had over 5 inches of rain at our house. But it sounds like some had more like 12 inches. So we were lucky.

Dang, I knew I should have taken those swimming lessons. :(

We wound up getting over 6 inches of rain. Luckily the house stayed dry.
