Just wrapped up Book No. 12.
I just finished reading An American Original Walt Disney by Bob Thomas.
It is a great biography of a great man, Walt Disney. It's an easy read and is so fun reading how things came about for Mr. Disney and his eventual company.
This is only one of a couple of books that I have read that made me cry. With Walt Disney's death and all the great things people and newpapers said about him. Yes, the tears did flow. :)

Ooh, the only Walt Disney biography I've read was this little one, The Story of Walt Disney: Maker of Magical Worlds (Yearling Biography) by Bernice Selden which I didn't read until last year. To be honest, I've put a lot of thought into Walt and what made him tick until I saw the movie at Hollywood Studios about his life and I loved the idea that it hadn't been easy for him, he did struggle and fail before he found success.

Then, I read the biography I mentioned before and found out about the abuse which made me so sad but explained so much at the same time.

I would very much recommend this book.
I am not sure about the abuse you mentioned though.
