disneydream06I was taking my patient that I am sitting with tonight out for a wheelchair ride and over head they called a Code Red(fire) out in the visitor ramp. Then a few minutes later they called a Code 45(medical emergency) out in the ramp. Must have worked some poor soul into a heart attack or something. :o

Date: 2011-12-27 07:28 am (UTC)When I was younger I was a Candy Striper for the local hospital - ( I am very claustrophobic) and one of our jobs was to take patients out and about in their wheel chairs...one day my boss came up to me and told me she had had a dream that I took a patient in a wheel chair down the stairs when a Fire Alarm went off - LOL...she made me reassure her that I would never do that! - LOL

The aide out on the floor just stopped in and tried to tell me I was going on break at 3:30. I was like do you have anything later, like 5? She wrinkled up her nose and said, how about 4:30? I said okay. Knowing darn well she plans to go at 5.
