Today is a day long Magic Kingdom day. It's also the day I have a ticket for the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
There is a special parade and fireworks display. Also they give away hot chocolate and cookies at different areas of the the park.
I had a friend of mine make me a green and red scarf to wear for the Christmas party. Hopefully it won't be too warm. lol... That and I thought I would try to get some Christmas themed Mickey Ears. :)

They had two kinds. One was like a Santa hat with Mickey ears on it. Unfortunately, it wouldn't fit my big head. :p
The other one was based on the typical Mickey Ear's hat. Only the base was trimmed in white "fur" and has a Santa belt around it. :) The Mickey Ears are small to, but they have an elastic string on them to hold them on. lol....... I will have to try and remember to snap of picture of them. :)

*le sigh*...really wishing I was there...The Very Merry Christmas party was so much fun...I bet the castle is beautiful - how did they decorate it this year...please don't get the huge Christmas tree hat with the Mickey ornaments all over it - trust me less is more!
Hope you are having a wonderful time - I'm really trying not to pout, but you're wearing a green and red scarf, and Mickey ears, and drinking hot chocolate at WDW...and you've probably even found some really cool pins and I just want to hear all about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took the scarf along, but I just couldn't bring myself to wear it that night. It was sooo hot and sticky. :(
I ended up getting the regular Christmas Mickey Ears.

They start the Christmas parties in early November, just like the Halloween party is started in mid September.
At least they haven't gotten as bad as the stores and starting it before Halloween. lol.......

This will be my second set. I have some "original" ones from my first trip.
I almost bought a second pair this year. They have so many to pick from now. They have one that is suppose to be a bellboy type hat from the Tower of Terror. lol...

I only got one cookie and cup of hot chocolate. :( I ended up standing in line for a picture with the seven dwarfs for 90 minutes then there was a parade, fireworks, and a couple of other "shows". That ate up a lot of the time. :p
Lots of pictures. :) Over the whole trip I almost filled 5 2MB memory cards. lol.......
