Nov. 12th, 2011 10:49 pmAnother day of vacation and more unbelievable stories to share........ :o
Today Angie and I spent a big chunk of the day exploring one of those big "outdoor" malls. Multiple stores and restaurants. Did a wee little bit of shopping.
Okay I didn't buy anything that I Needed. :p I got a magazine, and Elizabeth Taylor wall calander, a set of bed sheets(LOL), a bottle of wine, a bag of "tuber" chips, and some "double stuffed" cookies from the Nestle Tollhouse store. :o Here's hoping the cookies will survive the trip to Disney.
We ate lunch at the 5 Brothers Hamburger joint. It was good greasy food. :)
Angie was starting to drag so we decided to call it quits at the Mall. I took Angie home and I went back to the hotel. I chilled played on the computer and for fun made a call to one of my credit card banks to see if could get a pin number to use an ATM machine if I needed the cash because there aren't any banks at Disney.
Big Surprise they couldn't do that for me. They could send me a "new" pin number to my home in about a week. GEE THANKS...
I was wasting time until it was time for Angie and I to go see the play Sugar, which is the musical version of Some Like It Hot. I get a call from Angie asking me if I was coming. I didn't realize that my computer clock was on Central Time and it was about 15 minutes after the time I told Angie I would be there to pick her up. UGH... I HATE that rushed feeling. Than I proceeded to not listen closely enough to my GPS and got lost. Thankfully we got to the theater with about 15 minutes to spare.
The show was really good. However, I think I am jinxing the people that attend shows with me. Kevin went to see Rocky Horror with me and didn't feel well, and now Angie didn't feel good either. Thankfully she stuck it out and we got to see the whole show. I am thinking that she just had a LONG day and it got to her. She had a really bad headache and felt naucious. Plans for dinner afterward were cancelled and I took Angie home so she could get to bed and get some rest.
On the way back to the hotel I stopped to fill up my gas tank for the drive back to Orlando in the morning.
My card got rejected at the pump and so I went in to see what was up with the cashier. She activated the pump and told me to come back in to pay. So I went and pumped the gas went back in to pay for it and my card was rejected inside too. ARGH... Thankfully I had another card for gas and cash if needed.
Pissed off I drove back to the hotel and called the credit card company again. I told them I had called earlier and why I did, and suggested the lady must have flagged my card as stolen. Sure enough that was the case. Not sure if a computer did it or the lady I talked to did it. The lady I talked to tonight was REALLY nice and got things straightened out for me and reactivated my card.
I had bought some cloths soap earlier because I decided I would go ahead and do laundry before heading to Disney. Not needed, but I thought it would be nice not to carry all that laundry home and just have the dirty cloths from Disney. Well, I have run out of time for that. NEED to get some sleep tonight before heading out on the road tomorrow morning.
So after all the ordeals I have been dealing with so far on this trip, does that mean I am due for a super terrific time at Disney World? :o
Well, I am guessing this will be the final night of being online until I get back home.
WiFi is not free at Disney and I really doubt I will have the time to do it. :p Who knows I may surprise you all and myself. :p
Have a GREAT week everyone if I don't "see" you all.

Date: 2011-11-13 05:49 am (UTC)sounds like a crazy but good day...I'm thinking twice about the idea of going to a show with you - maybe we should just stick to Disney!!! LOL!
URGHHH...I've had the same instance happen to me and stupid debit/credit cards when I go on vacation - it sucks!!!...It happened last time we went to California, D had to talk to the fraudulence department for them to turn it back on - because we only use that card for vacations, and our first stop was a gas station, then we used it at a parking meter (places where photo ID can't be checked) and they just turned it off - OMG!!!!
I'm so going to miss hearing about Disney - have the best time ever and take lots of pictures...and HAVE FUN!
*hugs*
