I was able to print off my boarding pass for the trip down and pay for my checked luggage,
BUT.....
That sure wasn't going to get me through security and to the gates.
United/Continental's counter is closed up tighter then a drum. There was a little sign posted if you have questions or whatever please go to the counter behind carousel 11 in baggage claim. So I went down there.
The oh so helpful ladies down there told me that I would not be able to check my bag, "because of security" until 4 am. She oh so politely offered to get me a distressed passager voucher for a hotel, which I flatly turned down. I am not spending more money on this trip that I have to. Besides having to get a cab to get there and back and besides who pays for a hotel room for maybe 6 hours? UGH........
If the stupid airlines would spend a little money on their customers instead of their CEOs maybe they could keep their counters open all night and let people check in.
I sarcastically asked what good was a 24 hour boarding pass service if you can't use it. Which she promptly misunderstood, or didn't get my sarcasm, and said, Oh you can get your boarding pass.
I turned and walked away............
