Work called me about 45 minutes ago. They wanted me to work tonight. I was really tempted to just do it. I must be getting soft in my old age.
I crawled out of bed tonight had some supper and haven't showered yet. Call me lazy. So I said sorry, but no I didn't want to come in.
Then about 10 minutes ago I went to throw a load of laundry in to dryer and realized, Yeah, I don't have a clean uniform and I don't think I oculd wash and dry one in 30 minutes. So I guess I had a little bit more of an excuse than just being lazy. lol......... Of course I am sure they would have found a pair of surgical scrubs for me to use. :p

I am looking maybe getting 4 hours of over time Sunday night. I am not scheduled to go into work until 3 am because I have a 4 hour "professional day" at 7 am. So I may or may not offer to come in at 11pm and work my full night shift and get 4 hours of OT staying for the PD/Waste of Time. :p

Well, normal work time is 11 pm, but they won't willingly pay me over time, so I have to go in at 3 am so I can stay until 11 am for a very LAME professional day. UGH.....

3am until 11am??? That doesn't sound very "professional" to me....unless EVERYONE shows up at 3am!!!

One of the nurses told me that one time she had to come in for a team day thing from 7am to 3 pm and to make up the other 4 hours of her 12 hour shift they made her come back to work from 7 pm to 11 pm. :o

Yep, the roads should be pretty quiet that time of the night. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
