Sep. 21st, 2011 03:11 amTuesday was a pretty good day.
Many good things and only a couple of minor downers. :p
First good thing of course was the end of my 8 nights of work. :)
Secondly, just before work ended, there was the most amazing rainbow outside our windows at work. I sooo wish I had my camera with me. It was the perfect arc, and after a few minutes a second rainbow appeared. WOW...
Thirdly, I got my doctor to take me off one of my meds. AMAZING, isn't it. Now as long as my blood pressure doesn't go up I get to stay off it or a replacement. :)
Forthly, I saw two great movies at the theater. I saw Pirates of the Caribbean IV On Stranger Tides for just a dollar. Then I saw The Lion King 3D. Although I don't think the 3D was necessary, it was a nice touch and so good to see it on the big screen again. :)
I always find it interesting to see who is seeing movies. In The Lion King there was a group of people that must have been about 10-12 ladies and three guys. Husbands? Boyfriends? BGF? lol...
Only downfalls for the day?
At the doctor's appointment we talked about my right foot being sore now. He was perplexed, intrigued and whatever that the pain was symetrical like that with the pain I had in my left foot, and occasionally still do.
We talked about it for awhile. He said maybe I should see a podiatrist, but if I was more comfortable going back to Sports Medicine and seeing the doctor I saw before that was okay too.
I said I was okay with seeing the podiatrist. Heck a new point of view might be good.
So off I went to get some xrays of my right foot and get an appointment to see the podiatrist. Xrays were done right away. The earliest, convenient appointment is....... Nov 4th.
So it will either be wait and the pain gets worse, or wait and the pain goes away before I ever see the doctor. lol...........
Side note of all this, most likely more money wasted to find nothing. lol........ I am a little pessimistic when it comes to doctors. :p

Just a little bragging here, The Lion King stage show made it's World Debut right here in Minneapolis, Minnesota. :)

Date: 2011-09-21 11:21 am (UTC)I know it's kind of lame, but I do hope that the pain doesn't go away before I get in. I would prefer they find out what's causing it. If they are capable of doing that. LOL..........

Date: 2011-09-21 01:23 pm (UTC)I love to see rainbows, and a double rainbow is extra special. What a perfect way to end the day.
Love the movies!! the Lion King is actually one of my faves!!
Hope they get your foot figured out. I hate that it seems to take forever to get in to see the specialists, unless its a big emergency.

Date: 2011-09-21 01:32 pm (UTC)I am not sure if I could have gotten in sooner if I didn't ask for a morning appointment or if that was the earliest either way they could get me in. I was so shocked when I called last week and was able to get into my Family Med doctor so quickly. :p
