disneydream06I want to thank every body for their dry thoughts they sent my way for the concert.
UNFORTUNATELY, they weren't dry enough. I got about 30 miles away from home and it started to rain, and it didn't stop until about 5 minutes before the concert ended. :o
It was kind of an expensive concert. With handling fees added the ticket was just over $70. The Go Gos ended up playing for about an hour.
That is after starting 1 hour and 15 minutes late. :o You would think the zoo people (or the band's roadies?) would be a little better prepared for a rainy situation then they appeared to be. ugh...
I got to the zoo early enought that I was able to wonder around a little. Indoors of course.
The zoo appears to have a Dr. Suess theme going this year.
