Violent Crime.....

Violent crime hit kind of close to home for me. My younger brother, Galen, who lives in Georgia called Friday night and told us that while in Florida to see the Mn. Twins play he was the victim of an attempted robbery at gun point. He was unpacking his car at his hotel when a guy came up to him and pulled a gun and demanded his wallet. My brother said he was stupid and started backing up and than ran. Apparently, the guy wasn't too crazy because he took off in his car instead of going after my brother. Thankfully Galen is okay and safe back in Georgia. Galen joked that this must now make him a republican, because democrats are just people that haven't be victims of a violent crime. At least he still has his sense of humor. I told him to stay out of parking lots now.
Not great news to get, but thank God he is safe.
