Also on Friday, the House Judiciary committee killed a bill that would have decriminalized homosexual sex.

MT State Senator Tom Facey's (D-Missoula) bill would have removed language from Montana Code which defines deviate sexual relations as sexual contact or sexual intercourse between two persons of the same sex.

The bill previously passed the Senate in a 35-14 vote.

Sadly yes. I think there are still a couple of states that make it illegal. Many more if the Far Right could get their way.

I don't think it was too many years ago that a court finally over turned a sodomy law some place that got a lot of states to finally get rid of their laws. Unfortunately, there are a couple left out there. :o
