Last night the country, well at least some of it, gathered to mourn the victims of the Tucson shooting.

Where was House Speaker Boehner?

He was hosting an RNC fundraiser in Washington DC.
He claimed he would leave the event before President Obama started to speak.
Well now, isn't that respectful. :o

Joe Wilson is infamous boob that shouted You Lie during President Obama's speach before Congress.

This gun dealer is offering a semiautomatic rifle branded with the words, You Lie on them.

I used to live in South Carolina. A lot of my co-workers who 'friended' me on facebook have some, errr, interesting views and political affiliations.

I'm not surprised by this in the least. Wilson's outburst, at least among the white (and predominately conservative) populous of SC made him a hero, rather than the embarassment you might have expected.
