I have watched a few movies over the last couple of days.
I thought would give my view point on them. I am not going to give an indepth review. Just a grade, and a couple of thoughts.

RocknRolla: Grade: B+
It's a gangster movie directed by Guy Ritchie, the former Mr. Madonna. It stars Gerard Butler.
The characters are pretty off beat, and I think that is a trademark of Mr. Ritchie's movies. But I think that is what I liked about it the most. The main group of characters, I think would be a lot of fun to hang out with. Well, not while they are out pulling a heist. lol...

Singing in the Rain: Grade: B+ leaning a little higher maybe...
It's a classic, but this is the first time I have actually sat down and watched it. Thank you Joe, Mr. Owl.
I didn't really know what to expect, and it was fun to see the story of the beginning of talkies in Hollywood.
Gene Kelly is always great, but I think Donald O'Connor is great. It's too bad he was usually a second banana. Debbie Reynolds could have been replaced by anybody, at least in this movie. Admittedly, I am predjudice being an Elizabeth Taylor fan. Long story short, Debbie's husband left her for Elizabeth, and she became the hated other woman for awhile, and Debbie was the innocent victim.

Julie and Julia: Grade: A-
If Meryl Streep doesn't win the Oscar for this roll, she will have been robbed again. She is AMAZING!!!!! She IS Julia Child.
The stories are mixed really well. All the actors are really great in their roles.
