I went through this very situation a couple years ago. A few of her dearest friends were very unhappy with him and the whole thing, but when she forgave him some of them weren't quite so gentle with her. My view? If she can sleep beside him, I can sit next to him with her. I was one of the first that she came to with him for socializing and I was glad that I let her know that I supported her, no matter what her decision.

I would be able to support my friend, but would be uncomfortable around them together.

I'm having a hard time with this question.

I don't think I could respect my friend anymore, but then...their choices aren't mine.

But then...the drama they bring to my life as a friend, and the results of their choices can or does affect me because I have to hear about them. I'm not sure I'd forgive either of them! (LOL)

But then...I don't know the circumstances.

I'd definitely feel uncomfortable around them.
