I just got another email from NWA today.

This is getting rediculously un frickin' believable.

Orginally I was to leave Minneapolis at 7:05 am. and fly directly to Orlando. With a direct flight back to Minneapols.
The latest had me leaving Minneapolis at 6:45 am with a 3 hour layover in Detroit, and a 1 hour layover in Memphis on the way home.

NOW I am scheduled to leave Minneapolis at 7:25 am and I am flyine to Cincinnati for a 45 minute layover and plane change. I am also back to a direct flight from Orlando to Minneapolis going home.
When I fly from Minneapolis to Cinannati I am flying on a 50 seat puddle jumper. Yippy skippy.

I will SERIOUSLY never fly on NWA again. I will never recommend them to anyone, and I plan to tell as many people as possible.

:-/ I'm sorry...it does seem to be getting very ridiculous...I mean seriously...how many times can they change your flight? ...and what for? Are they giving you reasons?

They have never once given me a reason for any of them.
I am really expecting 2 or 3 more changes before it gets here. :(

you should ask them why they are changing it so much. I would be curious...because seriously...why on earth would they need to change a flight so many freakin times?!

geez...it seems like no one has a hold on anything these days...what with your ordeal with the airlines, my boyfriends deal with his job...and my job is all screwy with hours and scheduling as well.

It's like people are just running around with their heads cut off pretending to run businesses!

It just goes to prove my point. Management doesn't have a clue about what they are doing or should be doing. ARGH.......

yes. That seems the case everywhere...especially the places I've worked at. lol

In my opinion the only reason management is there and the only thing they are capable of doing is pointing their finger and yelling. ...especially at my job lol

I will wave as we are coming in for a landing. :p Unless we are running late, and then I will be too stressed about missing my connecting flight. :o

I know it sucks, but it's not just NWA. All airlines have been doing this since the economy tanked. And it's becoming a lot more common to fly those small planes on anything less than trans-continental or high traffic routes. They just can't make money flying a 737 to Cincinnati.

What kind of small plane is it? The Embraer ones aren't too bad, I flew one of those from Chicago to Halifax.

Not sure exactly. It's Canadair Jet 200. One diagram says ASA the other, Comair/SkyWest. Not sure what all that means. :p

ASA, Comair and SkyWest are just the potential airlines that NWA is contracting with for the flight to Cinncinati. Northwest Airlink, United Express, etc. are all run by smaller regional airlines that sub-contract for flights that aren't between an airline's hub cities.

Well, as long as I get to Florida I will be happy.
I won't fly with them ever again, but I will be happy. :p

Like I said though, in all fairness you'd have this problem with ANY Airline.

I can except one change like I have had in the past, but the continous changes I am getting this time are too much.
