Well, it looks like I am glasses free for potentially another 4 years.
I passed my driver's license renewal eye test yesterday. I have always figured if I can pass that eye test I can hold off on getting glasses. lol...
I am the last person in my family, except my last two nieces(soon to be 3 and a new born), to have to get glasses. Not bad seeing as I am about to turn 46.

Yikes, did I say that out loud? SHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't tell anyone. :o

I always joke with people, my body maybe this old, but my mind is only about 13. LOL...... I figure that way I am not really growing old. Always a kid at heart. :)

I thought I was doing rather well with not even needing reading glasses, but since I had insurance..
Went and got them checked. I have a slight astigmatism (which I knew, but I prefer the world a bit soft-focus) and I'm far-sighted in one eye, but near-sighted in the other.

Hence, my eyes adapt automatically for whatever focal length I need. Funny, eh? But the difference with a contact lens in one eye for close up work is .. well.. remarkable now that i've tried it.
