Today's WTF moment is more of a prediction.
Yesterday, A Rod of the NY Yankees admited to using steriods while playing in Texas.

This comes a fews days after Michael Phelps apologized for smoking some pot.
Micheal Phelps of course has been crucified by the public and some of his sponsors.

Here's my prediction:
A Rod will sail through this "incident" fairly smoothly using the arguement, himself and by others, that everybody in baseball is doing it anyway.

My personal feelings are if you are caught or admit to using steriods while in any sport? You should have your ass kicked out for life. Any records you accumulated while in said sport should be taken out of the books.

I think "A-Fraud" will likely get through this cuz the public is getting tired of hearing about steroids in sports. Most people I've heard on der radio say they just want everyone to get over it & get back to practice...
(I also think he should pay his salary back for the years he was "using")

I TOTALLY agree! What's the point of trying to teach our kids to stay clean when this double standard for athletes destroys our attempt? What's the use of trying to teach them the right way to do anything when our efforts are foiled by celebrities, athletes, GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, employers, and even school personnel? It makes me so angry!

HA! I think the whole brouhahah about Michael Phelps is that it blows big ass holes in the theory that pot smokers are lazy, unmotivated and can't have ambition, and that pisses off The Man.

I don't know if you ever watch The View, but I caught it last week when they were talking about it and even Barbara was getting all pissy about it. Poor Whoopi was sitting there trying to tell them that Micheal was being paid to be a spokesman not a roll model. Ugh...
