Apparently the Religious Right has a new poster child to lead their cause.
He is the once squeeky clean Pat Boone. Unless of course there is another Pat Boone that I am not aware of.
Mr. Boone has decided to jump into the fight over Prop. 8 in California. And in pure Religious Right spewing of hatred has equated the GLBT community with Muslim jihadists.
I am willing to bet the only people that will show any anger over this will be the GLBT community. I am also willing to bet regular media won't even mention this disgusting comparison.

Yeah, I have tried to stop using the word Straight in referance to Heteros. I don't think of myself as crooked. :p

On another topic. I HATE the Betty Crocker cookie ad. The one where the dad ate the cookies for Santa and the kid throws a hissy fit until dad makes more. UGH......

Pah. Stupid man, that Pat Boone. Sadly, I think the so-called moral folks will continue to hijack the real terrorists' acts for their own purposes. And you are not crooked at all. You're right, using the term "straight" isn't really appropriate. It just feeds into the "homosexuality is wrong" thing.
