1. First Name/Nicknames: Jon. As for nicknames, none really, but I answer to just about anything. My patients always seem to think my name is Jim. No Jon. I like to joke with some of them when they say they have to go to the john. I will say, Excuse me??? :p

2. Age: 45 ancient year, and growing older every day at work. :o

3. Location: Stewartville, Mn. Bred, Born, and Raised. :p

4. Occupation: I am a nursing assistant for one of the World Famous Mayo Clinic's hospitals. Although they like to call us Patient Care Assistants. But why do I spend so much time "taking care of" the nurses. ugh...

5. Partner?: What's that?

6. Kids: Nope. I am not to sure I would want to bring a child into this world any more. :(

7. Brothers/Sisters: I have two brothers. One older and one younger. That's right I am the poor middle child. LoL...... I alway tease my mom and dad that I was adopted because there are tons of pictures of the other two boys but not many of me. :p My older brother was kind of the wild child. So I had to be the good one. I grew up with my mom saying, I had one son that did that I won't have another. Yes mom, I will stay home and be your good child. :p

8. Pets: None any more. Or should I say for right now. A few years ago we had to have our last dog, Alex, to sleep. She had a tumor on her chest that started to weep. She was old enough that I didn't want to put her through surgery for it. She was a super dog. She was a golden retriever and although we never got her officially trained she obeyed pretty well. I would love to have another golden retriever. They are amazing dogs.

9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
1. Planning a trip to Las Vegas. Meeting Mr. Owl there. Miss Raven was suppose to come to, but she isn't now. I have never been to Vegas so it should be interesting. I am seeing Cher in concert while I am out there. :)
2. TRYING to lose some weight. I have failed miserably this year at dieting. The struggle continues.
3. Politics/weather/economy Just trying to stay ahead of all of them. :o

10. Where and for what did you go to school for? Local Vocational College for nursing assistant classes and since then, I have just been learning from Life. It's a good teacher. :)

11. Parents?: James and Helen. Dad was an only child and mom had one full brother, he passed away about a year ago, and I think 3 or 4 half siblings.

12. Who are some of your closest friends?:
Derek is an online friend and we have never met, but he is a super person that I am lucky to have in my life.
Mary started as an online friend, but we have since met a couple of times. She is so kind and she is an amazing mom to her kids.
Angie another online friend that I have had the pleasure of meeting in person a couple of times. She has a huge heart. I need to find her a good boyfriend. :)
Teresa and Joe, what a crazy trio we make. We met for the first time in Iowa at the Amana Colonies. It was way to short of a weekend. We were suppose to repeat in Vegas, but Teresa isn't going to be able to make it so I guess it's me and Joe to terrorize the Strip. :o
I have many online friends that I thank the internet for bringing to me. Although we have never met in person, I consider them very good friends.

plovesbears, who shares her enormous heart with me.
Oh heck, just look at my friend's list here and you can see all the wonderful people in my life. I have never been good at stopping at "some".
I have some very good "in person" friends too.
Stephanie, Joan, Maureen are great friends from work.
And Chris is a good friend that lives up in the Twin Cities, but with gas prices the way they are I don't get to see him very often.
