Nutcracker No More.....

Well, The Nutcracker is all done for another year. Like all shows it is kind of sad to be all done, BUT I am also very happy. My knees took such a beating during the show, and they are so sore now. I had to fall down twice during each show. That's ten times plus rehearsal times. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!! How many times can you fall on your knees before you do damage to them? hmmm...
Oh well, I had a great time with the kids. For the final rehearsal I wore my vampire fangs and the little kids just loved them. So I then became the Vampire Butler. lol... I actually get along a lot better with the little kids then I do the adults. What does that tell you about the adults in the show??? lol...
After the cast party the two directors paid me a couple of real nice compliments. They told me I was very funny and professional, and it was real nice to have another sane adult around. LOL!!!!! Again I ask, what does that tell you about the adults in the cast?

Seems to me this show would be better called The Kneecracker. How about padding your pants next year at the spot where you fall?
