I had a special birthday gift waiting for me when I got up from bed yesterday.
My first letter for jury duty. YIPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They couldn't have been nice and at least waited until after my birthday to send it? Gee, thanks.
Then I got a call from work. They floated me over to our sister hospital, and I am currently sitting with a nut job. Thank goodness he is tied down or I would have to sit on him to keep him from pulling his tubes out.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have I mentioned how much I could do without my coworkers?????

Tonight's first nutter was really bad. Apparently they didn't think I was the right person to sit with him so they put someone else with him and I am sitting with another one. This one is in isolation for the Flu and no real clue what is going on. Gave her something to calm her down and it lasted all of one hour. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's going to be a long week. :o

Wow. I have yet to be called for Jury Duty. I don't think I could handle that kind of stress right now. Like, whoa. I'm also not a fan of sitting in a dark room with several strangers debating the validity of one's claims to decide their innocence or guilt. I could be wrong, however, because I did spend a lot of time when I was younger watching court room movies (A Few Good Men...Tom Cruise in a uniform? Whoa).
