This boss type is perhaps the hardest to describe, as he or she is generally fairly average in all areas. They're not especially good or bad, and they're not espcially adept, nor are they especially hopeless. This makes their behaviour frustratingly hard to predict - but if they are showing signs of nasty behaviour, they're probably still gullible or thick enough that you can take care of them with a little planning.

HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS BOSS ARCHETYPE:
A neutral boss won't go down easily, so if you think you're on their good side, your best best is just to try and keep yourself there. If you think your boss has taken a dislike to you or perceives you as a threat, then you can try things like banding together with coworkers and questioning your boss at the next meeting. After all, he or she can still crumble if you hit him/her with enough questions. If you want to get in his or her good books, also keep in mind: this boss archetype are usually smart enough to brown-nose other people if they need to, but not smart enough to realise when other people are brown-nosing them. So long as you keep it fairly subtle, a little ass-kissing could get you far. You can also try sleeping with them, but I would be wary of how you go about wooing them - sexual harassment policies are getting tighter and tighter these days, and even a seemingly innocuous comment like 'your sleeves are blue' can now be punishable with a minimum thirty years in solitary confinement at a maximum security penitentiary.

Yeah, the questions don't really match up with my situation too well. Like the coercon(sp?) to do things. No I am just told to do things. :p She is very "corporate nice". If that makes sense.
