Car Accident...........

Sometimes life really does suck.

I was driving in to work tonight and was in a car accident.
There was a minivan in the lane ahead of me. They pulled over into a left turn lane, but as they got up to the intersection they pulled right back out into the lane in front of me. I hit my brakes and swerved to miss them. Thankfully I did. Unfortunately, I was then rear ended by another car.
The minivan had the nerve to just keep driving. Never stopped. Never slowed down.
I called home to ask my mom to call work and let them know I was going to be late, and to ask her to look up the police department's number. I could have called 911, but on my phone when you call 911 it then locks the phone and I don't know how to unlock. :p As I was talking to my mom the fire department and police came. Some good semaritan must have called them because I didn't and the lady that hit me didn't. The fire department/rescue people stayed long enough to see if anyone was hurt. The lady driving the other car and her mother weren't. I am sore and stiff, but I think I am going to be okay. I am sucking down Ibuprofen. Of course I was dumb enough to come in to work afterward, but I think I will be taking tonight off and resting for a long weekend. The policeman took our stories. I had also asked my mom to call our car dealer to come tow my car back to Stewartville. It's not driveable now. The wheelwell on the rear passanger side is pushed up against the tire.
My dad was nice enough to come in and he gave me a ride to the hospital. Should have been smart and just went home. :p
Sadly, this probably eliminates the possibility of my going back down to Florida this year to see friends and go back to Disney World. :(
So I apologize to you in advance for missing anything that goes on over the weekend.

Awww sweetie, you take care and have a good rest. Have you got something nice to put in the bath? Radox is good for sore muscles. I am so glad you weren't badly hurt though, and the lady and her mother. Could have been so much worse. I guess you had your guardian angels working there! Take care and have a good rest. oh no. I'm glad you're okay... get checked out anyway, you never know what might have gotten strained in your back/neck and not hurt yet. Muscle relaxers are your friend.. well, they're MY friend anyway.

I am glad to hear your o.k., make sure your neck is doing fine-and if your still sore, it wouldn't hurt to have it checked out. The nurse in me is comminig out. I can't believe the front car never stoped.
