Wild Oats......

disneydream06I almost forgot to post, I have been cast in a show.
It is called "Wild Oats". It's a comedy set in the wild West. I haven't read the full script yet, but the parts we were reading for the auditions sound very funny. A lot like a melodrama. I am going to be playing Corporal Crow. He is the side kick to the father of the main character, I believe. Crow is part Irish and part American Indian. What kind of accent is that? Yikes... I told the director I would try to work on that. He said, try to make it Northern Ireland and Chippewa and not Apache. lol... I asked it was to late to change my mind. He said yes. lol......
So if anyone has ideas, throw them my way.
Our first rehearsal is next Tuesday. That just happens to be one of the days I have an all day union bargaining meeting. So I will be awake for easily over 24 hours that day. I am getting way too old for that sort of thing. :p

I will have to check into his background. I was thinking it would be a riot to come up with a red wig and have red pigtails. LOL......

Date: 2007-01-12 06:04 am (UTC)My home town, where I am doing this show, has had their community theater for just over ten years I believe. This part of Minnesota is covered quite a bit with community theaters and the such.
In all your spare time, you should start a theater. LOL.....
