A Day In The Life.....

I had Maggie to the Vet's again this morning.
She has not been improving and actually last night got worse.
She started to have drainage from her nose, not just with sneezing, and she also started to cough up "water/foam".

They repeated the xrays they did before and they did some blood work.
Without doing an ultrasound which would give more information, they gave me the news.

It is looking like Maggie probably has cancer. :( :( :(
It is not completely shocking news because Golden Retrieves have a high rate of cancer in their breed, but it was definitely not the news I wanted to hear.
It's breaking my heart of course.
I had always hoped that Maggie would just live to be an old girl and pass away in her sleep.
Now that odds are I am going to, at some point, decide when to let her go. :(

They prescribed some prednisone and something else to help ease the symptoms.
I am praying that it helps.
I just want her to be comfortable and happy.

Can I ask you to please keep her in your thoughts and prayers?
