A Day In The Life.....

I just had Maggie out to do her morning duty.
We were walking through the cemetery and it was a wee bit chilly.
It is currently 10F/-12C with a windchill of -6F/-21C.
Welcome to Minnesota. lol.......

As we walked along I saw a bird soaring over by the river, but it was a ways away so I couldn't really see what it was.
As we got closer it started flying up the river and I could finally see that it was a Bald Eagle.
And then I saw a second one. WOW... :)
And because that wasn't good enough, there was a third one there too. WOWZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never seen more then two of them around here.
They are just so amazing to watch soaring around up on the wind currents. :o

There was also another bird sitting in one of the trees along the river. I couldn't really see what it was, but I think it was some kind of falcon. It kind of had that silhouette.
And it was just too quiet to be one of the crows. lol.....

That's very cool, seeing three! I haven't seen more than one flying at a time. But I did get a photo of an eagle in a tree once, kind of by accident as I didn't know what I was shooting at the time. :-)

Fabulous.

I was able to see a hawk in a tall tree from my Kitchen window. In the winter, when the fresh water freezes, the bald eagles hang out in the marsh by my house. I hope to get a photo one day.
