A Day In The Life.....

The weather gods were smiling on us today.
The weather cleared for both the parade and the fireworks tonight.

The parade is normally schedule for 6:30 pm, but they pushed it back until 7 pm and finally got it started at about 7:10 pm.
The rain ended shortly before that.

And it stayed clear for the fireworks that started about 10 pm.
I wish I had recorded it as they put on a really nice show this year. :)

The heat of summer is hitting now. Wednesday is supposed to be 107 but it's a dry heat. ;-)

Yeah, the temps haven't been high yet, and the humidity isn't overly high, but it's been sticky already. :o

I must be getting old because it's a totally turn off now. Ugh...
And with all the rain we have had, the bugs are really bad.
Earwigs are starting to get in the house again. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
