And so, what is your tax rate???

As corporations report their finances this winter, we’re analyzing the data:

T-Mobile = $11 billion in profits; -0.4% federal income tax rate
General Electric = $7 billion in profits; -6% federal income tax rate
General Motors = $6 billion in profits; 4% federal income tax rate
Tesla = $3 billion in profits; 1.5% federal income tax rate

Large, profitable corporations are paying little if anything in federal income taxes on billions of dollars in profits.

Well that's why I always say that EVERY major corporation (assets Over 10 million dollars) needs to get an annual Federal Audit, top to bottom, have a Federal Transaction Tax attached to ALL money transfers of any kind including internally to various sub-divisions and overseas divisions.

But I also believe in doubling the IRS Budget with the additional budget purely for forensic auditing accountants to work on corporate audits. And that 10% of all money received by the government from fines, court settlements etc should go into the IRS to assist with said audits.

Corporations were the WORST thing that America ever created or allowed, after slavery.

Oh, I can safely say it's higher than 4%.

Yeah, it's a pretty disgusting system.

The amazing thing is that the top tax rate used to be NINETY PERCENT!  And the country thrived!  It's been reduced - by Republicans - and now look where we are.
