Yes, so many great songs in that movie! That is a pretty one, but I didn't really remember it.

It was after they had their big outing and Mary was trying to get them to go to bed.

And I think it was the next morning that dad took them to work, and they saw the bird lady sitting on the steps of St. Paul's.

Now I want to watch it again! I saw your comment on another person's post about Walt Disney asking her to be in the movie, how sweet!

I thought it was so special.
I don't know if you are familiar with who it is.
It was the actress who played the mother to Henry Fonda in The Grapes of Wrath.

I heard the story several years back and it has stayed with me ever since. :)

So touching.
And the story of Walt Disney wanting the actress who played the Bird Lady to be in the movie.
She was a big actress from the past who was pretty much retired.
I heard he went to her retirement home to ask her to do the movie, and I heard he sent a limo to bring her to the set. Treated her like the movie star that she had been. :)
