I think the problem is that his lawyers have been given the power to file suits for him to protect his brand name (trademarks). This is very common among high priced artists, often set up by their agents, to prevent knock-offs and counterfeits. Some of these then sub-contract the legal work to smaller firms who then use even lower down the totem pole employees to find suable targets (and some even use AI's/bots to search the various crafting websites for such merch).

I figured that was the case, but you can't really say you unknowingly did it when you set up the system to do just that. :o

If his Agent and his Agent's hire law office does it all he doesn't really know the details of anything they do, thus the unintended consequences, he doesn't really know.
