A Day In The Life.....

Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment
It was the follow up/consult for the hearing/balance tests that I had done last month.
I almost called to cancel it. One reason because it was at 1:45 pm, aka the middle of my sleep time, but at least it was a day off. Second reason was I didn't really expect much to come from it, just like all the tests and doctor appointments I have had in the past about this dizzy issue.
Well, I kept the appointment and not a lot was accomplished, but the "doctor", I think she might have been a PA and not a doc, was really nice.

After the doc appointment I ran over to the Social Security office to ask if we were allowed to keep the last check that dad had received. That is great news because if we didn't get to keep it, we were going to have to come up with $2500.00 for the final payment on mom and dad's gravestone. This way, we only need to come up with about $400.

Well, it sure seemed like a lot more news when it was happening, but yeah, I guess that's it. lol...

Have you been to a ENT doctor? Have you had a scan of your sinuses? I ask because I had exactly this for a long time and they found it was an undetected sinus infection that had lasted and never went away. I was given antibiotics and the symptoms disappeared! This was after 2 years of other doctors and specialists including a well-reputed neurologist who just said it was vertigo...Anyway, talk to someone about that if you haven't already.

Good about the money!!

Because my Mom died early in the Month we were not allowed to keep her last SS check. They automatically took it from the back where it was direct deposited.

Then today I got a letter in the mail predicting next year's property taxes. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh oh, Ours are kind of high too. The state gov keeps saying they are trying to lower them however...

At least we voted down the school referendum or that would have increased it even more. :o
Would be nice if we actually saw something for our money. UGH.....
