A Day At The Fair.....

The nerve of life to get in the way. :o
Today I will give you the food posting from Labor Day Monday...
I had another of the Holey Hamload Breakfast Sandwiches.
It must have been fairly popular because according to the menu it was now being served all day instead of just until 1 pm. That or because it was the last day, they were trying to get rid of supplies. lol...
I had my first ever Funnel Cake.
It was with a coupon in the fair's Blue Ribbon Coupon book, so it was limited to the toppings available.
I went with Cinnamon and Sugar. It was a little dry, so I think I would have liked it better with different toppings.
Next I had another strawberry lemonade.
Next I tried another new food, a "Dole Whip". I wanted to try the strawberry, but they didn't have any at the time, so I tried the lemon. It was nothing really special to write home about.
Then I had some cotton candy.
Next I had my annual Tator Tot Hotdish on a Stick.
It alternates between tator tots and meatballs, battered and deep friend, and served with a little cup of cream of mushroom soup. YUMMY...
Then I had another strawberry shake from the U of M booth.
It's the one that's closer to soft serve then a drinkable shake.
And that was just before the end of our day...
