A Day In The Life.......

I came so close to calling in "sick" tonight from work.
Friday night I sat with a drunk going through withdraws.
Saturday night I was assigned to watch to drunks.
Thankfully the one was bad enough that the nurse was doing hourly medications so I didn't have to deal alone with that one.
I so do not want to have to deal with any of that again tonight, but I know damn well I will be. :( :( :(
I DO NOT GET PAID ENOUGH TO DO THIS JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We do, but for all the great things we keep hearing they do for other places, it seems to be lacking here.

While I've worked in various fields of mental health I'm glad I never had to deal with alcoholism!

We just see so many people that are either alcoholics or drug addicts or both any more. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
