Sad News.....

This day just went from bad to HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am dealing with trying to get a new to me vehicle, and because of issues there, I couldn't sleep, so I got up and I am trying to do some catch up with journal comments.

I just opened a comment from someone I don't know, but it was connected to a comment I made on beauty_forashes journal.
She, I think it's a she, posted that she was just now able to start posting about this and wanted to set up a community to honor Alex's memory.

OMg, Alex, beauty_forashes, has died. :o

OMg, I hate getting this kind of news.
Other then waiting to hear an answer from this person I have no way of finding out anything

Alex was so young and so full of life.
He had some health issues and some demons, but always seemed to fight back and live strong.

OMg, he's gone. :o
Yes, I only knew him from LJ, but friendships, at least for me, can grow strong that way.

Were any of you my friends also friends with Alex? Do you know what happened? :( :( :(

Rest in Peace my dear friend. ♥
You are missed greatly.

Oh Jon, I am so sorry about your friend. It is so hard to lose people here or on LJ, as we don't know how to follow up, no closure, sigh.

I have his address, and I know it will arrive very late, but I was thinking I would send a sympathy card to his partner so he knows he's being thought about.

I took a card to the post office this morning.
I asked if there was any way to expedite it.
She looked up and to get three business days to Germany... $91. :o :o :o
I will just have to go the slow route. :(

That is insane! My friend just got back from Germany, too bad she couldn't have taken it over there.
