A Day In The Life.......

I had Maggie out this morning to do her duty.
We were walking along and I heard a noise. It sounded like a sputtering engine on a jet airplane.
I looked up and saw something, but wasn't sure what it was. Then I saw something else too.
Then I looked higher above me, and saw a hot air balloon. :o
I looked back down at the other two things and realized they were paragliders. They must have jumped from the hot air balloon. WOW...
And the noise I heard had to have been the burner on the hot air balloon. :)

And now a little soapbox for the day...
Today is Labor Day in the States.
It's a day that we are suppose to celebrate the working Man and their contributions to our country.
Or at least that's my take on the holiday.
I do feel sorry for Labor Day though. It really doesn't celebrate laborers any more.
The only people guaranteed to have the day off is Management. Yeah, it's not Management Day. :o
Also Labor Day has been hijacked and turned into the Unofficial Last Day of Summer Holiday.
IMHO...
And of course it's a holiday so the Flag Wavers, mostly the Repubs because they own the US flag now, put out their flags. It's a joke and insulting coming from the Repubs because they do not support Labor or Unions, which is exactly what the holiday is supposed to be celebrating.

Today brings the end of my vacation time too.
I go back to work tonight.
Wish me luck, because I have not managed to stay awake all night once the entire time. It's the down side of being awake at the fair all day, let alone 3 days. lol..... :o

I was just standing at the sink doing the supper dishes and I happened to look up from a dish and there was a little hummingbird fluttering in front of the window. :)
