Oops...
I forgot to post my beginning post last week, but yep, the annual diet has begun again...

January 1st: 258.7 lbs.
January 8th: 251.4 lbs.

Total Lost: - 7.3 lbs.

My first week's are usually pretty good.
Maybe not quite this good, but good. lol...
Is this a window on how much I normally eat.
Way too many calories.

I am logging my calories now, yes a first of the year thing but I still haven't started losing yet. Hopefully that will be soon! Congrats on your good start! :)

Could be worse. One of the two medications my Diabetes doctor has me on specifically has the side effect of causing weight gain, and it apparently is also the source of my leg cramps in the night. But of course the doctor never warned me of either side effect when they put me on it.

It is supposedly the safest of the Statins they could prescribe for my condition. And even then it comes with a ton of warnings that it can cause physical cardio shock to discontinue it or change it out for a substitute.

They more or less forced me to as part of the care plan of my diabetes after the surgery as a precaution. Anesthesia has some risks in regards to the heart and with the triglyceride level my body normally has (its hereditary) they thought it was the cautious choice. Sigh.
