Nov. 3rd, 2016 06:52 pmTo my British friends and/or fans of British television.
I just caught the end of an episode of "Good Neighbors". At the end of the episode, they started to show the studio audience and announced that it had been a Royal taping of the show and the audience stood up and the Queen and Prince Philip came down out of the audience to greet the cast and crew of the show. This was obviously several years ago looking at both their appearance and the clothing styles.
What I am wondering is, did the Queen really sit and watch the taping of a comedy show, or was this a big gag to end the episode with?
