Feb. 21st, 2012 01:21 amOh, the weather outside is frightful......
Well, the weather itself isn't too bad, but the roads suck the big one REALLY bad. :o
We got ourselves some of that wet, heavy snow this evening.
On my way into work tonight I got behind a car that was doing about 35 mph in the 60 mph zone. Of course the passing lane wasn't plowed, so I carefully pulled into that lane and tried to get around him/her. The A**hole proceeded to speed up. WTF? So I pulled back in behind him/her so of course he slowed back down again. So back into the unplowed lane I went and tried to pass the SOB. I got up next to him/her and they proceeded to keep up speed with me so I couldn't get around them. WTF??? So I spent a 2-3 miles or so in that crappy lane, trying not to get pulled into the ditch or into the car beside me because of the heavy slushy snow. Finally I got about half a car length in front of this idiot and put my turn blinker on. He/she finally got the hint and backed way off and I pulled into the fairly plowed lane. After that I could see another vehicle try to go around the idiot and he/she must have pulled the same crap with them because eventually they pulled back in behind this car.
I think we have had worse storms/weather this Winter, but I think this was my worst drive into work so far.
The weather forecast calls for more of this lovely stuff over the next few days.
I REALLY need to get a new/newer car. Anybody want to make me a loan? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
