I heard on the news tonight it was the shortest time for a Prime Minister. :o

I am a pessimist about it too because I want to prepare myself for the worst. The campaigns are so horrible and full of SO many lies this year, it just makes me sick. Bleck. :(

It's so frustrating because during the Primary vote, the Democrats had much larger numbers then the Repubs did. But now polls are saying the state wide races are neck and neck. HOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a Repub running for Governor that wants to deny Choice, wants to eliminate personal income tax which is a MASSIVE part of our state budget.
We have a Repub running for Sec. of State that said disabled people shouldn't be allowed to vote. :o :o :o
She also said she wouldn't necessarily accept the vote results if she loses.
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will probably lose a Democratic US Congress seat. :(

It's horrible! And then these people that say they will not accept losing, I don't even get it, just horrible people. Bad sports, my gawd. :(

And the first thing I thought of was the Republican party.

This too shall pass. We filled out our ballots last night so I am done. I feel like just turning off the news until the dust settles like around Nov 15th and just hope for the best.
It isn't worth our poor mental health you know, as what can we really do besides vote, sigh.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. She made a mess of things. Did you hear they might bring in Boris again even though he was forced to resign because of all the scandals? It makes me wonder what the hell is happening over there!

They need to have a general election, but the sitting government/Tories will never ask for one for fear they would lose. :o
