A Day In The Life.......

Well, my first visit to the State Fair this year is done.
Last year I would get up there early and was one of the first few cars in line to get on the grounds. This year I was early and I was more like about 30th in line. The grounds weren't packed shoulder to shoulder, but I do think the numbers were up from opening day last year.
The day started off very overcast, but turned pretty sunny by early afternoon.
We didn't stay really late because I wanted to get home so I could make supper for dad, and I did. :)
Monday, our next visit, may or may not be shorter. The neighbors who are helping with Maggie will be out of town. So don't want her to have to cross her paws too long.
And now my day in pictures.
This was a flower display at the entrance to the fair grounds. Metal framing to look like trees.

We have the CNE on right now, but only Bees and I can go, Julz can't. Which sucks. So, and the weather sucks. :( Is Val and Mr. Dream Jeans going? You should get Val on DW. I hear that the fries are good at the MN state fair... :)

The fries are very popular at the fair. Which I think is just kind of funny. LOL........

I think she has a DW. Not too sure though. :) I have seen the fries, you can get this huge ass bucket for like $12 (I think)... I love french fries but I dunno if I could eat that much lol!!! It is funny!

I bought them when they first came out, but fries are something you can get pretty much every where all the time. So I try to concentrate on more "fair" type foods. lol...
