A Day In The Life.......

Give or take...

Last Winter, our furnace decided to stop working. Thankfully it was an easy fix.

Now Summer is showing it's face and our air conditioning unit is dead. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Instead of trying to fix it, I went with the option of getting a new one.
Approximately three weeks from now, we should have cool air.
Meanwhile windows are open hoping for breezes and fans are blowing.
I would probably tolerate it for awhile longer, but dad is just melting.

Tuesday was a nice day in nature.
I saw what I believe was a Baltimore Oriole at our bird feeder.
I saw a bald eagle again.
And I saw a bumble bee.

Sleep as sucked this week because of phone calls and repair men. :(

I was wondering if I should call the cops to do a wellness check on a neighbor.
He has been flying the US flag upside down, which if I remember correctly is a distress signal.
But he recently took it down, so all must be okay.
Tongue is firmly planted in my cheek as this is the neighbor with the massive Trump lawn sign in his yard.
So actually yeah, he is distressed. lol......

Well, that's all that's coming off the top of my head at the moment...

Yeah, upside-down flag is an international sign of distress for a ship, can't imagine what he'd think he was in distress about except for the ever-increasing debt that Trump is racking up to the court for failing to produce documents to the DA in New York.

I need to find some of the sticky foam to use to install our bedroom AC soon... we are likely to hit 80 this weekend....

The union jack upside down is also a distress signal but a lot of people don't know which way is the right way!
