A Day In The Life.......

It got a little stormy around here today, and apparently it's supposed to repeat again this even just about the time I have to go to work tonight. :o

I woke up around 2 pm this afternoon.
I laid there and could hear it hailing outside. :o
I was hoping my vehicle was safe.
When I got up at 5 pm, vehicle looked okay.
I headed over to the cemetery with Maggie and it looked like there was a branch down on the big pine tree just inside the gate.
When I got closer I could see that there was a gash from the top of the tree all the way down to the ground.
So it must have been struck by lightning. :o :o :o
Maggie did her thing. I took her home and then came back with my camera to get some pics.
While I was there a neighbor lady came over and said she saw it struck when she was coming home from work around 2 pm. So I am assuming the bang of the lightning strike must have been what woke me up. :o

That's wild... we didn't get lightning but we got hail apparently...

Julie told me it hailed. I was dead to the world... napping... ha!

The lightning woke me up and then I laid there listening the hail coming down hoping my vehicle was okay.
Thankfully it was. :o

When I got up there was still some hail along the windshield wipers. :o
