---Just the other day I was walking Maggie, yes through the cemetery, and we came across the partial skeletal remains of a rabbit. It was the spine and hindlegs. It was still kind of pink like it wasn't that old, and the feet still had the fur on them, but everything else was just bones. :o :o :o

---I heard on the news tonight there are only 3 Kmart stores still open in the USofA.

---First I apologize to my European friends because I know your gas prices suck compared to ours, but when prices are what they are, I really hate paying for gas I am not even getting. I stopped to fill up my tank this morning and I went through the whole credit card steps to pay for it at the pump and then put the nozzle in my tank opening. Before touching the handle to start the flow I was already charged 31 cents. WTF... So I went inside the store to complain and they told me that was the gas moving down through the hose. So I am paying for gas I am not even getting? Oh no blah blah blah... I have never seen that happen before. :o
So apparently one of the cheaper places in town makes up for it by charging you for gas you don't even get. WTF!!!!!

That is kind of sad about KMart and Sears. Those were the days of American made tools and such, sighh.

VERY sad about Kmart/Sears.
I wasn't a big shopper at either place, but to think something that big can fail.
I keep waiting for the sad news that JCPenneys is closing. :(

from my understanding, LOTS of chain stores have closed - JCPenney's, Macy's, etc....who knows what's left in the US in terms of shopping anymore. Here in France, it's also hard to find decent clothing stores.

So far Penneys and Macys are still open.
We lost the regional Shopko a couple of years ago.
Kohls is still around, but they tend to be pricey and last time I was in there it kind of sucked.

I saw the same thing on KMart stores. We lost ours many years ago during the first wave of shutdowns. I was surprised to learn that there are still many Penney's stores still open: again, ours closed with the first wave, the one store in Las Cruces is still there.

I would consider calling the State Dept of Weights and Measures, or whoever is responsible for pump calculations. That is definitely a rip-off.

Poor bun. :( We haven't had Kmart in Canada in ages. I remember my foster sister Judy lived near one.
