Will Smith just assaulted someone on national television and he's going to get away with it.
And then to really top off the night, he won for Best Actor.
Good actor, lousy human being...
Also, a day for pop confections. Confections such as Madonna or Pet Shop Boys.
The vibes were actually good… until the most famous man in the world assaulted a beloved comedian. How do we reconcile that?

What was with all the sports athletes presenting last night.
Serena and Venus Williams, Shaun White, Tony Hawk, Kelly Slater.
Yeah, there was a movie about the Williams daddy, but they weren't in it.
Speaking of Serena and Venus and several other ladies last night...
What was with all the boobs?
I was starting to get the urge to suckle. :o :o :o
And that says a lot for a Gay man. :p
And apparently the Queen B, aka Beyonce, has been listening to too much of her own PR.
You are not actually a Queen Miss B.
She was nominated in the Best Song category, and her performance was the only one that was a big budget music video that was shown at the awards and not performed live on the stage.
Speaking of music, although there apparently was an orchestra used at some point, they had a DJ stationed up in one of the theater box seat areas. A DJ at the Oscars?

Kevin Costner acted like he had taken his Melatonin early.
He just kind of slowly rambled through his presentation.
Does anybody know why there was a lady, seemingly taking notes, during the acceptance speak of the Best Foreign Film winner?
