I am so ANGRY and so relieved at the same time.

I was just woken up, after 2+ hours of sleep, by the neighbor gentleman who helps take care of Maggie some times.

He found dad uptown, crossing main street, on his way to city hall to pay a bill.
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. It is only 34F. I don't care that he had his Winter jacket on.
2. He easily could have fallen and laid there in that temperature for who knows how long.
3. The stupid bill is automatically deducted from his checking account, but he got it in his head that it isn't any more.

He decided to do it because this morning after his haircut I wouldn't stop at city hall to do it.
The Schwans delivery was due this morning and I didn't want to miss them.

Now apparently I have to worry about him doing stupid stuff like this.
Not out of confusion, but out of pigheadedness.

We put a cheap alarm on the door that would go off whenever my dad snuck out.

I was thinking about something like that, but dad brings the mail in each day.
If it had been a case of confusion wondering I would definitely be thinking about putting alarms on the door. :o

I don't think confusion was involved, I think it was pigheadedness and old mind not thinking anything wrong with the decision.

Yes, it gets hard to tell. I remember my Dad messing up like that.
